Using this site means accepting these terms. They are short because the site is simple: it shows a price, says how old it is, and explains how it was worked out. Last reviewed 5 September 2026.

Information, not advice
Everything on Gold Price Desk is market information for general interest. It is not financial, investment, tax or religious advice, and it is not an offer to buy or sell anything. Decisions you take on the strength of a number here are yours.
What the prices are
The prices are the raw metal value derived from a global spot quote, refreshed every two minutes, with the age of each reading shown beside it. They are not the price any shop will charge you or pay you: a shop adds a making charge and, in most markets, tax, and deducts something when it buys. Where a page gives a local figure for those, it is a researched range with a date, not a quotation.
Accuracy
We take care to publish correct numbers and we show our working, but a live feed can fail and a source can be wrong. When our feed is stale or down the page says so and shows the age of the last good number; it never pretends. We give no warranty that any figure is accurate, complete or current, and we accept no liability for loss arising from reliance on it, to the extent the law allows.
Quoting and linking
You may quote any figure or passage from this site, with a link to the page it came from and, for a price, the time shown beside it. You may not present our numbers as your own live feed, strip the age from them, or reproduce whole pages.
The embed card
You may place our embed card on your own site free of charge, on three conditions: keep the visible link beneath it that names the source, do not alter the card or obscure the age it shows, and do not present it as advice or as a quotation for a sale. We may change or withdraw the card at any time.
Automated access
Search engines and AI crawlers are welcome and are told so in our robots file. Requests at a rate that degrades the site for other readers are not, and may be blocked.
Law and changes
These terms are governed by the law of Ireland. We may change them; the date at the top says when they were last reviewed, and a material change is noted on the page.
